Wrestling Opens Season at Clarion Open

CLARION Pa. - Brown wrestling opened the 2023-24 season at the Clarion Open in Pennsylvania on Sunday.
Junior Ian Oswalt (141)Â and sophomore Jonathan Conrad (174) advanced to the quarterfinals in their respective weight class.
Freshman Ethan Mojena won three matches at 149, including a major decision. Junior Blake Saito won two matches at 157 with a major decision. Junior Keegan Rothrock and freshman Dominic Frontino each took two matches at 165, Rothrock won a match by major decision, while Frontino took two by technical fall.
Winning one match on the day were freshman Nico Romero (149), sophomore Nicholas Olivieri (184) and freshman Alex Hamrick (285).
Complete results are listed below. Brown wrestles next at the Black Knight Invitational on Nov. 19.
