Field Hockey Heads to #11 Boston College for Monday Matchup

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown Bears (4-6, 0-4 Ivy League) return to the road to take on the 11th-ranked Boston College (7-5, 1-3 ACC) on Monday afternoon in non-conference action.
Monday's game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. in Newton, Massachusetts and will stream on ACC Network Extra.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- The Bears look to bounce back from consecutive close losses to conference foes – falling in overtime against Yale and to Princeton last week.
- Kylee Del Monte has started all 10 games in goal for the Bears and holds a 1.39 goals against average and .731 save percentage. She leads the conference in goals against average and ranks fourth in save percentage.
- Senior Imogen Govan leads the Bears with three goals and seven points through 10 games. Lindsey Ross and Lexi Pellegrino both have two goals to rank second on the team.
- Boston College enters Monday looking to avenge a 3-1 road loss at top-ranked North Carolina on Friday. All five of BC's losses have come against top-10 opponents.
- Margo Carlin leads the Eagles with nine goals and 24 points through 12 games. Five other Eagles have multiple goals, including five apiece from both Peyton Hale and Mia Garber.
- Caroline Kelly has started all 12 games in goal for Boston College and holds a 1.03 goals against average and .789 save percentage.
- Monday marks the 15th meeting between the Bears and Eagles in a series dating back to 1984.
- The teams met annually from 1984-93 with BC holding a 5-4-1 record in those meetings. The series renewed from 2002-05 with Boston College winning all four games.
