Wrestling Hosts No. 6 Cornell on Saturday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -Â Brown wrestling is back at the Pizzitola Sports Center for a EIWA match against No. 6 Cornell on Saturday at noon. The Bears most recently fell at home to North Carolina, who is receiving votes in the NWCA Coaches Poll. Cornell is also the top-ranked team in the Mid-Major Top 20 poll.
Brown Head Coach Jordan Leen was the 2008 157-pound NCAA champion at Cornell.
Sophomore Drew Clearie is 2-1 this season against Power Five competition with wins against Michigan State and North Carolina. Looking to keep up their fast starts to the year are senior Ricky Cabanillas (12-5) and sophomore Hunter Adrian (12-8), who both have winning records. Brown is 1-0 in conference this season with a 25-10 win over Franklin & Marshall on January 5.
