Reall Places Fourth at Southern Scuffle

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - No. 31 Andrew Reall (197) placed fourth in his bracket as Brown Wrestling participated in the Southern Scuffle to begin 2026. The sophomore Reall went 5-2 in the two-day tournament.
Reall earned a 3-0 decision over No. 19 Payton Thomas (Navy) and a medical forfeit win against No. 18 Sonny Sasso (Virginia Tech). Reall also scored a pinfall victory in 5:33 against Connor Maslanek (Campbell). The only wrestler to defeat Andrew was No. 17 Branson John (Maryland), who won their first match 5-2 by decision and their second match 4-1 in a sudden victory decision.
Alex Semenenko (285) continued his strong season with a 3-2 record on the weekend, and picked up his seventh pinfall victory of the year against Utah Valley's Jack Forbes (2:00). Semenenko also scored a 4-1 sudden victory decision against Jay Henderson (Cornell).
Austin McBurney (149) went 3-2 in the tournament, headlined by a 15-3 major decision win over Yuta Otero (Chattanooga). One of two losses for McBurney came against No. 30 Brock Herman (Little Rock) in a 17-4 major decision.
Ethan Mojena (157) also went 3-2 on the weekend, with a standout 2-1 sudden victory decision against Kellen Smith (Army). Mojena faced off against No. 21 Gavin Drexler (North Dakota State) and competed very well, ultimately falling via a 2-0 decision.
No. 28 Max Norman (165) recorded a pinfall victory in 4:15 against Keegan Goeas (Utah Valley) en route to a 2-2 record overall. Dominic Frontino (157) earned a 6-1 decision over Kaden Milheim (American).
