Brown Hosts North Carolina for Saturday Duals

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown wrestling is back at the Pizzitola Sports Center for a Saturday clash with North Carolina at 6:30 p.m. The Tar Heels (2-6) are receiving votes in the latest NWCA Coaches Poll.
The Bears enter the weekend with a 2-3 record, including a 1-0 mark in the EIWA after defeating Franklin & Marshall, 25-10. Senior Ricky Cabanillas most recently won the David H. Lehman F&M Open at 149 pounds to boost his individual record to 12-4. Sophomore Hunter Adrian (12-7), senior Shane Hanson-Ashworth (3-2) have winning records, while sophomores Blake Saito (11-11) and Sam McMonagle (8-8) are off to strong starts as well.
North Carolina has five wrestlers in their probable lineup in the top 30 of their weight class. They are: No. 29 Jack Wagner (125 lbs.), No. 17 Lachlan McNeil (141 lbs.), No. 18 Zach Sherman (149 lbs.), No. 4 Austin O'Connor (157 lbs.) and No. 15 Gavin Kane (184 lbs.).
