Men's Lacrosse Places 13 on NEILA All-Academic Team; Nine Named USILA Scholar All-American

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Thirteen Brown men's lacrosse seniors earned NEILA All-Academic honors with nine also picking up USILA Scholar All-American honors.
The NEILA announced the regional academic team Tuesday afternoon with a record-breaking 123 student-athletes from all NCAA Divisions receiving the postseason honor. USILA announced its Scholar All-America list Monday night with 142 Division I student-athletes receiving the national recognition.
Brown places 13 on the NEILA All-Academic team for the second straight year and matched Endicott College with the most selections. UMass (11) and Bates (10) were the only other programs with double-digit selections.
The nine USILA Scholar All-Americans are the most from any program. Rutgers had the second-most selections with eight honorees with Cleveland State, Jacksonville, and Stony Brook all placing seven on the postseason list.
Brown had three USILA Scholar All-American honorees in 2019 and 2020.
