PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Trailing 15-8 with 5:03 remaining in the third quarter, the Brown men's lacrosse team (6-5, 1-3 Ivy) mounted a seven-goal comeback to defeat Dartmouth (4-7, 0-4 Ivy), 17-16, in overtime on Saturday afternoon at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
"I'm incredibly proud of this group," Rothman Head Coaching Chair for Men's Lacrosse Jon Torpey said. "Down 15-8 with five minutes to go in the third quarter against an incredibly talented and well-coached Dartmouth team, we just kept fighting. This time of the year your seniors take over and the underclassmen show you how much they love their teammates. It was on full display today."

Jameson Steele led the Bears with five goals while Jeremy Hopsicker had a hat trick. Henry Brayer won 24 out of 36 face-off opportunities, Brayer also had 18 ground balls which is the second-most in a single game nationally this season.
After the Bears opened the game with goals from Hopsicker and O'Kane, the Big Green responded with a 4-0 run to close the first quarter.
