Brown to Host Ocean State Invitational

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown track and field programs will compete at two meets at opposite ends of the country this weekend, starting with the two-day Angel Sun Classic & Multi at Arizona State on Friday and Saturday, in addition to hosting the annual Ocean State Invitational at Richard Gouse Field at Brown Stadium on Saturday.

At last weekend's Colonial Relays in Virginia, Brown's men took first place overall out of 39 schools, which included 26 Division I programs.
Back in Rhode Island at the Black & Gold Invitational, senior Erin McMeniman broke the program's javelin record with her throw of 48.23 meters, surpassing the previous women's program benchmark form 2014.
Overall, across both meets, Brown had 12 athletes/relay events register marks that sit in the top-10 all-time in program history.
