Women's lacrosse heads to UMass Lowell for final nonconference tilt

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's lacrosse team will travel to UMass Lowell today, Tuesday, April 26 for a 7 p.m. matchup which will serve as the Bears' final nonconference game of the season.
Brown is coming off a huge victory over Cornell, which has allowed the Bears to control their own destiny in qualification for the Ivy League Tournament. Lowell, on the other hand, has lost two games in a row and will be looking to get back on track.
The game will be streamed live on America East TV.

Scouting the Bears (6-7, 3-3 Ivy)
- Mia Mascone is coming off a nine-point week which saw her record a career-high four assists in the win over Cornell. Her 30 goals and 42 points lead the team and are fifth and fourth respectively in the conference.
- Erin Schafer and Allison Lanzone have each caused at least one turnover in each of the last four games. Schafer leads the team with 17 on the season.
- Claire Jeschke's career-high 19 assists lead the team and are the third most in a single season by a Bear over the last seven seasons. Only Maggie Fowler (23) in 2019 and Hafsa Moinuddin (20) in 2018 had more during that span.
- Lowell is 4-12 on the season with its four wins coming against Marist, Wofford, Binghamton, and Merrimack.
- The River Hawks are averaging 9.9 goals per game, while allowing their opponents to score 12.9 for a -3.0 scoring margin.
- Lowell has been led by Izzy Liquori's 35 points from 29 goals and six assists. Megan Brockbank's 15 assists are a team-high.
- This will be the fourth meeting in program history between the Bears and the River Hawks with Brown taking all three of the previous matchups.
- The Bears won the most recent meeting by a score of 12-6 in 2017.
