"Today was a great team win," said head coach Mike Daly. "I'm really proud of our team and their effort today. The stretch of games we played was a great testament to our senior leadership – they kept our team improving and I'm happy for the team."
The Friars jumped to an early lead with four straight goals to open the first quarter and held a 5-1 lead halfway through the frame. From there, Ryan Aughavin scored consecutive goals and Devon McLane added another to cut PC's lead to one heading into the second quarter.
