
Softball hosts Holy Cross for Tuesday doubleheader

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown softball is back home for a doubleheader against Holy Cross on Tuesday (March 22). The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 3 p.m. at the Brown Softball Field.
Both games will be streamed on ESPN+.
SCOUTING BROWN
Brown dropped its first three games of the Ivy League schedule at Princeton over the weekend as the offense was shutdown by the Princeton pitching staff.
The Bears scored just two runs and finished the weekend with three hits against the Tigers.
Alexis Guevara leads the team with a .286 batting average and is tied with Kat Clum for the team lead with 10 hits.
Laurel Moody leads the squad with both three home runs and five RBI.
In the circle, Lauren Innerst leads the team with two wins and is second on the team with a 2.23 ERA. Innerst allows opponents to hit just .193.
Erin Elgas has allowed just one earned run in 7.2 innings pitched.
