Women's water polo starts conference play over the weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo begins its conference schedule with three games over the weekend at Bucknell. The Bears will play two contests on Saturday (Feb. 26) before one game on Sunday (Feb. 27).

Brown will kick the weekend off with a contest against St. Francis at 3 p.m. before playing Bucknell to close out the day at 6 p.m. Sunday's game will be a matchup against Princeton.

Brown is coming off an impressive weekend at Santa Clara where the Bears went 4-0. Brown finished the tournament with wins against Santa Clara and Pacific to move to 9-5 on the season.

Zoe King leads the Bears with 25 goals on the season and has 16 assists, also a team high. King is also the top performer on the defensive end with 22 steals. Claire Pisani is second on the team with 21 goals and Lily Weiser is third, having scored 18.

In goal, Shauna Franke leads the team with 68 saves, while Marley Presiado is second with 67. Presiado leads the goal keepers with 10 steals.
