ECAC Play Resumes at Home Against No. 6 Colgate and No. 10 Cornell

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Another weekend against ranked opponents is coming up at Meehan Auditorium. This time the Brown women's hockey team faces a pair of ECAC foes in No. 6 Colgate on Friday at 6 p.m. followed by No. 10 Cornell at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

SCOUTING BROWN (4-5-1, 2-2-0 ECAC)
- Freshman forward Jade Iginla was honored as the ECAC Rookie of the Week for the second time this season after recording two goals and an assist in the Bears' 1-1-0 week against Holy Cross and at No. 11 Providence.
- Tuesday's victory against Holy Cross was Brown's first win at home this season. The Bears are 1-2-1 at Meehan Auditorium and 2-3-1 in nonconference action.
- Iginla leads the team with five goals and eight points to go along with three assists.
- Brown is ranked 19th in the nation on the penalty kill with an .850 percentage.
- Junior goaltender Kaley Doyle checks in at 23rd in the country in save percentage at .925 percent.
- Freshman forward India McDadi has five points with two goals and three assists.
- Sophomores Olivia Williamson (4-0-4), Cameron Sikich (1-3-4) and junior Jess Ciarrocchi (0-4-4) each have four points respectively.
- Colgate enters Friday night as the No. 6 team in the nation and boasts an impressive 6-2-1 record against ranked opponents, including a 4-4 tie at No. 1 Ohio State on Tuesday.
- Nationally, the Raiders rank fourth in power play goals (13), sixth in scoring margin (1.88) and seventh in the nation in goals (57), assists (100), points (157) and scoring defense (1.69).
- Senior forward Danielle Serdachny (12-18-30) leads the country in total points and points per game (1.88). She also leads the nation in total assists and is third in assists per game (1.12).
- Serdachny and junior forward Kristyna Kaltounkova (12-13-25) are tied for second in the ECAC with 12 goals and fourth in the country in goals per game (.75)
- Defensively, Colgate ranks seventh in the country in scoring defense (1.69).
- Junior Kayle Osborne and sophomore Hannah Murphy have split time in goal. Osborne appeared in the last two games and has an 8-2-1 record with a 1.73 goals against average and .926 save percentage.
- Cornell will play at No. 3 Yale Friday night before meeting the Bears on Saturday.
- The Big Red are 2-2-1 against ranked teams this season including a 3-1 win over No. 10 Princeton and an 8-1 victory versus No. 10 Clarkson the following weekend.
- Cornell is first in the ECAC in points per game (10.20) and assists per game (6.40) and second in goals per game (3.80).
- Senior forward Gillis Frechette leads the Big Red with six goals, 10 assists and 16 points.
- Other players to look out for are junior forward Izzy Daniel (5-9-14), freshman forward Mckenna Van Gelder (6-4-10), sophomore forward Kaitlin Jockims (3-6-9), freshman forward Georgia Schiff (3-5-8) and sophomore forward Lily Deliaedis (2-6-8) and classmate defender Rory Guilday (1-7-8).
- Junior goaltender Deanna Fraser has seen the most time in net and has a 4-2-0 record, a 3.10 goals against average and a .867 save percentage.
