
Bears set to host Holy Cross on Wednesday night

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's basketball returns home to take on Holy Cross on Wednesday (Nov. 30). The game will tip at 7 p.m. in the Pizzitola Sports Center.
The Bears will be hosting its Mental Health Awareness game with information regarding mental health organizations available.
ABOUT BROWN
- The Bears are riding a five-game win streak after beating Central Connecticut on Monday night. Brown held Central Connecticut to 29.7% shooting and outscored the Blue Devils 36-16 in the paint.
- Kyla Jones rebounded from her four-point performance against Monmouth with 17 points at CCSU. All 17 points by Jones came in the first half as the Bears pulled away early.
- During Brown's five-game win streak, Jones leads the Bears with 20 points and is shooting 54.1 percent from the floor. As a team, Brown is shooting 44.5 percent and holding opponents to 33 percent.
- Grace Arnolie earned her second-straight Ivy League Rookie of the Week after a 23-point performance against Monmouth. Brown has won all three Rookie of the Week awards this season.
- The Bears have owned the middle quarters this season, outscoring opponents 233-176. Brown has been outscored by six-combined points in the first and fourth quarters this season.
- The 5-2 start for Brown is the best start since 2017-18 when the Bears started 12-1. That season also saw Brown win 10-straight games.

- Holy Cross enters the game with a 4-2 record and is coming off a win over Dartmouth on Sunday. The Crusaders' two losses have come against Marquette and Boston College.
- Holy Cross is shooting 39.9 percent from the field this season and is outrebounding its opponents by six rebounds per game.
- Lindsay Berger and Bronagh Power-Cassidy are tied for the team lead, averaging 12.3 points per game. Berger is also leading the team with 8.5 rebounds per game and is second on the team with 2.3 assists per game.
