
Men's basketball hosts Maine Sunday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's basketball team will host Maine this Sunday, Nov. 27 at 2 p.m. at the PIzzitola Sports Center. It will be the Bears' final home game before they play four straight on the road.
Brown will also be playing host to the Division I Men's Basketball National Championship trophy as part of the trophy's traveling tour around the nation. Fans will have the chance to take photos of and with the trophy on Sunday.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at BrownBears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at the Pizzitola Sports Center. Fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival.

Scouting the Bears (1-4)
- Last time out against UMass Lowell, Paxson Wojcik tied his career-high of 17 points as he sunk a career-high five threes. He added four rebounds and three steals to put together another solid performance for the senior on the young season.
- Nana Owusu-Anane recorded his third straight game with nine rebounds and his fourth straight with double-digit points with 14. On the season, he leads the team in both rebounds (8.0) and assists (3.2).
- In four games off the bench this year, Kimo Ferrari has shot 42.9% (6-for-14) from three to lead the team among players with at least three attempts from deep.
- Maine is in the middle of a four-game winning streak as their only loss on the year came in the first game of the season against Nebraska. Since then, the Black Bears have outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points per game and have posted wins over Maine at Fort Kent, Boston College, Columbia, and Central Connecticut.
- Kellen Tynes has led the team so far with 16.6 points per game. The six-foot-three guard has done almost all of his damage inside the arc, as he has hit just one three on the season. He is shooting 66.7% (32-for-48) from two.
- Gedi Juozapaitis and Peter Filipovity are also averaging double figures on the year at 15.4 and 12.8 respectively. Filipovity leads the team with 6.6 rebounds per game.
- Brown leads the all-time series against Maine at 10-8.
- The Bears have won two in a row, including a 75-67 victory in Providence during the 2018-19 season.
