INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Freshman Jade Iginla scored her third goal of the season early in the third period, and also added an assist on Brown's tying goal.
- Freshman India McDadi tied it late in the third period with her second goal of the season.
- Sophomore Anna Gallagher and freshman Ellie Gauvin each picked up their first points of the season with one assist each.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Penn State struck first on the power play at 12:07 of the opening period on a one-timer from the slot off a centering pass from behind the net.
- PSU struck again with just under a minute to go in the period on a wrist shot from the left wing circle through a screen.
- Brown quickly jumped on the board early in the third period when Gauvin sent a long pass into the neutral zone where Gallagher tipped it to Iginla, who stickhandled it into the left wings circle and sent a low-angle shot through the goaltender and in to cut the deficit in half just 1:10 into the period.
- Brown drew even with 3:19 remaining when the Bears kept it in the offensive zone, leading to McDadi letting go a wrist shot that went over the goaltender's shoulder into the top left corner.
- Penn State crashed the net and retook the lead with 1:09 remaining as Julie Gough roofed a rebound in front after a wrap-around attempt to put Penn State back on top.
- Kiara Zanon put the game away with an empty net goal with 15 seconds remaining.
QUOTES FROM THE COACH: MELANIE RUZZI
- "I think we as a staff continue to challenge them. We know there's more in this group. They're always gritty and always play hard, and we know there is more poise. We challenged them to find a way to get the job done in that third period and they did to tie it. Penn State is a good team and we lost some checks late and it led to the go-ahead goal."
- "Over this next week, we'll look to get healthy and get back to developing individual skills and a systematic approach. It doesn't matter what day of the week we play, we're always looking to get better and we'll be ready to get after it next Tuesday."
