Women's basketball finishes up road trip at Wagner on Sunday

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Brown women's basketball will finish up a two-game road trip with a matchup at Wagner on Sunday (Nov. 12). The game against Wagner will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be streamed on NEC Front Row.

ABOUT THE BEARS
- Brown dropped a close contest at Duquesne on Saturday 77-69. The Bears cut the Dukes lead to one with just over three minutes left in the game but Duquesne scored the final seven points of the game.
- Isabella Mauricio scored a career-high 27 points to lead the Bears. Mauricio bounced back from being held scoreless in the first game of the season by hitting a career-best seven threes.
- Kyla Jones reached double-figures for the second time this year scoring 15 points. Jones was tied with Mauricio for the team lead with four assists.
- Mackenzie Leahy scored 11 points in her second-career game hitting two threes and going 3-for-4 from the free throw line.
- Brown's defense forced 13 turnovers and blocked six shots with Mya Murray leading the way with three.
- Wagner is 1-1 on the season with an overtime win over Manhattan to start the year and an 87-62 loss at Iona the last time on the court.
- Manhattan is shooting 38.4% from the field this season but is allowing opponents to shoot 44.4% from the floor through the first two games.
- Kem Nwabudu is the leading scorer on the team averaging 11.0 points per game. Wagner has eight players scoring at least five points per game.
- Brown lost last season's matchup to Wagner in Providence. The Bears were up by two at halftime but were outscored by 12 in the second half.
- Kyla Jones led the Bears with 14 points and Mya Murray and Maddie Mullin each scored 12.
- Amanda Latkany had nine points and 13 rebounds.
