HANOVER, N.H. – The Brown Bears closed the 2022 NIRA 15s season at Dartmouth on Saturday, falling 85-0 to the Big Green at Brophy Field.
With the win, Dartmouth secures its second-straight unbeaten regular season and will look to repeat at NIRA 15s Champions later this fall.
"The team faced an impressive Dartmouth squad and never gave up," said Kathleen Flores Head Women's Rugby Coach Rosalind Chou. "They played to the final whistle and have a lot to take away into next 15s season. We'll enjoy some time off and then look forward to 7s in the spring."
Dartmouth jumped to an early lead as Ari Ramsey touched down three tries early in the half to give the Big Green a 24-0 lead. The Big Green added more tries to take a 50-0 halftime lead.
Dartmouth added tries early in the second half and ended up taking the 85-0 win over Brown.
