Sailing completes weekend of events

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown sailing teams competed in five events over the weekend, compiling a pair of top two finishes.
The team took fourth out of 18 at the Atlantic Coast Championship. Connor Nelson and Isabel Cox sailed in Division A, while Liam O'Keefe and Nora Ong were in Division B.
The second place finishes were at the Oberg Trophy (out of 17) and the Norm Reid Team Race (out of six). At Oberg, William George and Helen Horangic sailed in Division A, Leyton Borcherding and Caroline Keeffe-Jones in Division B, and Mason Stang, Catherine Morrissette, and Sierra Bornheim in Division C. At Norm Reid, the skippers were Hunter Zonnenberg, Tommy Styron, and Connor Macken, and the crews were Hannah Sellers, Emily Rosenthal, and Talia Levine.
The Bears finished fourth of six at the Lane Trophy. Charlotte Costikyan, Emily Mueller, and Katherine McNamara were Brown's skippers, while Janelle Li, Kaitlyn Hamilton, and Brianna Ross were the crews.
At the Yale Women's Interconference, Brown finished fifth of 16. Bears in Division A were Caroline Bayless, Blaire McCarthy, Menasha Leport, and Savannah Young. Division B was Brielle Willoughby and Olivia Miller.
