PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Marvin Wilenzik '56 Head Coaching Chair for Brown Wrestling Jordan Leen has announced the team's 2022-23 schedule. The slate features six tournaments, six home meets and five on the road.
"Our schedule is both exciting and challenging," Leen said. "I'm pleased to offer a home slate that features nationally ranked competition from across the ACC and Big Ten, as well as the EIWA and Ivy League. Our team will be tested against some of the nation's best in both dual meets and tournaments, and our student athletes will be provided plenty of opportunity to earn the quality wins they will need to advance into and through the postseason."
The schedule is highlighted by home dual meets against Pitt (Dec. 9), Michigan State (Dec. 10), and North Carolina (Jan. 14). The team's first Ivy meet will be at home on Jan. 21 against Cornell.
The season gets underway on Nov. 6 at the Clarion Open.
EIWA Championships will be held from March 3-5 in Philadelphia, Pa., followed by NCAA Championships from March 16-18 in Tulsa, Okla.
