Men's soccer hosts Harvard Saturday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's soccer team will host Harvard this Saturday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m.
The Bears and Crimson will both be looking to secure their first Ivy League victory of the season as both teams have begun the conference portion of their schedules 0-1-1.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at BrownBears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at Stevenson-Pincince Field. Fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival.
Saturday will also be the program's Alumni Day.

Scouting the Bears (6-3-1, 0-1-1 Ivy)
- Brown has already equaled its win total from last season with seven games remaining on the schedule.
- Jamin Gogo Peters continues to lead the team with four goals and nine points on the year. He scored to equalize last week against Cornell.
- Henrik Weiper's four shutouts in goal for the Bears lead the Ivy League and his .789 save percentage is second.
- Harvard has opened the Ivy season with the same two opponents, and same two results, as Brown. The Crimson fell to Cornell 3-2 and tied Columbia 1-1
- On the year, Willem Ebbinge's 12 points (3G, 6A) lead the squad. Martin Vician's five goals are a team high.
- In goal, Oskar Nilsson has gotten the start in nine of the Crimson's 11 games and has posted a 1.60 goals against average and a .667 save percentage.
- Since 2010, Brown has held the slight edge in the series at 4-3-4.
- Last season, the Bears and Crimson played to a 2-2 draw. Derek Waleffe '22 scored both of Brown's goals.
