Women's soccer hosts Northeastern Sunday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's soccer team will host Northeastern this Sunday, Sept. 19 at 1 p.m. in its final game before Ivy League play begins.
The Bears will try to get back on the winning track after suffering back-to-back 2-1 losses at Notre Dame and Providence. The Huskies have recently come across hard times themselves. After starting the season 3-1-0, Northeastern has gone 0-2-1 in its previous three games.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at BrownBears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at Stevenson-Pincince Field. Brown Athletics has moved to completely contactless ticketing, so fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival.

Scouting the Bears (4-3-0):
- Rebecca Rosen scored her second goal of the year on Thursday at Providence. That makes eight in the career of the 2018 Ivy League Rookie of the Year.
- The Bears' 16 goals so far this season is tied with Harvard for the most in the Ivy League. Brown has also scored first in five of its seven games, which is second in the conference to Harvard who has scored first in all six of its matches.
- Northeastern's last three games have been a 1-0 loss to UMass Lowell, a 0-0- double overtime time with UMass Amherst, and a 2-1 double overtime loss to Harvard. In the Huskies' three victories prior to their current winless streak, they outscored their opposition 6-0.
- Mikenna McManus leads the team with two goals and one assist for five points.
- In goal, Megan Adams has started all seven games for the Huskies and has posted a .76 goals against average and a .714 save percentage.
- The Bears are 7-1-0 against the Huskies all time with the two sides last matching up in 2013 when Brown came away with a 2-1 overtime win.
- The only Brown loss in the series came in 2010 when the two sides played a neutral site game at Dartmouth. The Huskies prevailed 1-0.
