
Softball Introduces Five-Member Class of 2025

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown University softball will welcome five incoming freshmen to the program for the 2022 season as part of its Class of 2025, head coach Kate Refsnyder announced on Thursday.
The class includes student-athletes from the West Coast and Southeast with three student-athletes from the state of California and one each from Florida and Georgia. The group provides balance across the field with players in the battery, infield, and outfield.
The Brown softball Class of 2025 includes utility Vanessa Alexander (Land O' Lakes, Fla.), outfielder Leah Carey (Ladera Ranch, Calif.), pitcher/first base Alexis Guevara (Chula Vista, Calif.), catcher/third base Laurel Moody (Carlsbad, Calif.), and catcher/utility Nikki Tanguay (Milton, Ga.).
Vanessa Alexander
Position: Utility
