PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's basketball heads back on the road for a contest against Hartford on Tuesday (Nov. 23). The matchup against the Hawks will begin at 5 p.m.

- Brown dropped its first two home games of the season during the last week with losses to Central Connecticut State and Wagner.
- In its last game against Wagner, Brown held the halftime lead before falling to the Seahawks.
- Kyla Jones led the Bears with 14 points and has scored in double-figures in four of the five games this season. Jones is on a three-game streak of reaching 10+ points. Jones led the Bears with a career-high six steals and has led the Bears in steals four times this season, including three games of at least three steals.
- Mya Murray had a career game against Wagner as the sophomore posted career-highs in both points (12) and blocked shots (5). Murray finished the game 8-for-12 from the free throw line, also both career-highs in makes and attempts.
- After a slow start to the season, Maddie Mullin caught fire for the Bears. Mullin was 4-for-6 from three-point range to finish the game with 12 points.
- Brown shot at least 40 percent in each of the first three quarters against Wagner but struggled in the final period, going just 3-for-12 (25 percent) from the field.
- For the first time this season, Brown won the battle on the boards against Wagner. Brown outrebounded the Seahawks 41-34. Amanda Latkany pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds for the Bears. It was the second time Latkany has finished with 10+ rebounds this season. Latkany also finished the game with a career-high nine points.
- Brown is playing its fourth game this season against a team from Connecticut. The Bears lost the first three games with road games at Fairfield and Sacred Heart and a home contest against Central Connecticut State.
- Brown has faced off against Hartford five times in school history and the Bears have won every matchup. The last meeting against the Hawks came on January 8, 1994, and the Bears won 66-53.
- Hartford comes into the game 0-4 on the year. The Hawks lost their last game 88-65 at Sam Houston State on Saturday (Nov. 20).
- Hartford is being outscored by 25 points per game this season and is allowing teams to shoot over 42 percent from the floor on the year.
- The Hawks have averaged over 27 turnovers per game and allowed over 11 steals per game through the first four games of the season.
- Three Hawks are leading the way on offense. Abby Streeter (9.8), Paula Maurina (9.5) and Jada Lucas (9.5) are the three leading scorers.
