Men's soccer faces Central Connecticut in final nonconference matchup

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's soccer team will head to Central Connecticut this Wednesday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. for the Bear's final nonconference game of the season.

Brown has won its last two games, while the Blue Devils are winless in their previous five, going 0-4-1 in that span.

Scouting the Bears (5-8-1, 2-2-1 IVY):

All five of the Bears' goals last week were scored by different players including a collegiate first for Jack Cloherty.
Max Waldau made seven saves over the two games for a .778 save percentage. The shutout against Penn was the senior's second, and the team's third, of the season.
Brown's 95 corner kicks on the year are second in the Ivy League, behind only Cornell's 96. At 6.79 corners per game, Brown sits at 14^th in the nation.

Scouting the Blue Devils (2-11-1, 2-5-1 NEC):

In games with common opponents to Brown this season, Central Connecticut is 0-2. They fell to Rhode Island 2-0 to start the season, followed by a 4-0 loss to Harvard just a couple games later.
