Cross Country to Host Rothenberg Run on Friday Afternoon

PROVIDENCE R.I. – In their final tune-up ahead of next weekend's Ivy League Heptagonal Championships, the Brown men's and women's cross country teams will host the annual Rothenberg Run on Friday afternoon at Goddard Memorial State Park in East Greenwich, R.I.

The meet will feature Brown, the University of Rhode Island, and open/unattached runners. All of the action will get underway at 2 p.m. with the women's 3200-meter race, followed by the men's 5K at 2:30 p.m.

In the team's last meet on Oct. 9, Brown's men finished third out of 24 teams at the NEICAAA Championships, their highest placement at the New England Championships since finishing runner-up in 2016. The women finished fifth out of 23 teams for their best finish at the meet since winning the New England title back in 2009.
