Men’s Hockey Earns 17 AHCA All-American Scholars for 2019-20

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's hockey team had 17 student-athletes gain American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) Krampade All-American Scholar honors, recently announced by the organization.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for the fall semester and participated in 40% of their school's games. A small number of waivers to the 40% participation requirement was granted due to injury or for back-up goaltenders.
Brown led the ECAC and ranked second among all Division I men's programs with 17 honorees.
The Bears also led the conference by placing all 29 student-athletes on the ECAC All-Academic Team, announced last week.
