
Jim Fullerton to be Inducted into Rhode Island Hockey Hall of Fame

Legendary Brown Coach Part of Seven-Member Class of 2020
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Former Brown University men's ice hockey head coach Jim Fullerton was announced as part of the Rhode Island Hockey Hall of Fame's Class of 2020 that was unveiled on Saturday night (Feb. 22) during the Providence Bruins game at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.Â

Fullerton was Brown's first full-time hockey coach and spent 15 seasons on College Hill (1955-70), where he coached three All-Americans and had 13 first-team All-Ivy selections. An inductee into the USA Hockey and USA Collegiate Halls of Fame, Fullerton was the 1965 NCAA Coach of the Year. One of the great defensive innovators of the modern game of hockey, he was also the driving force behind the organization of the nation's first women's collegiate hockey program at Brown.

The seven-member Class of 2020 also includes Tim Army, David Capuano, Louis Cimini, Jack Ferreira, Paul Guay and Garth Snow.

Induction Ceremonies for the "Class of 2020" are scheduled for August 28th at the Twin River Event Center in Lincoln, RI. Tickets are available at RIHHOF.com.
