16th-ranked Men’s Squash Posts 9-0 Win Over #21 Amherst

Providence, R.I. – Playing in front of the hometown crowd at the Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion, the 12^th-ranked Brown men's squash time handled #21 Amherst, 9-0, Tuesday afternoon.

"The team continue to play hard uncompromising squash," said head coach Stuart leGassick. "They are in a good place at the moment and playing well up and down the ladder. Road trip to Penn /Princeton early in February is really going to be a great test for the team."

Brown found success at the top of the lineup with junior Maximo Moyer taking a 9-11, 11-5, 11-4, 11-6 decision at number one. Sophomore Declan McCarthy grabbed a 3-2 decision at two, followed by junior Andrew Wei (3-0) at three, freshman Ahmed Amin (3-0) at four, senior Nicholas Pitaro (3-2) at five, senior Harrison Boyer (3-0) at six, senior Blake Gilbert-Bono at seven, freshman Raghav Pemmireddy (3-0) at eight and junior William Glaser (3-0) at nine.
