Throughout the month of March, Brown Athletics will celebrate Women's History Month through a series of profiles. Over the course of the month, the Bears will recognize women who have made an impact on the university community and beyond.

Suzanne Bailey '91, Women's Lacrosse/Soccer
A standout lacrosse and soccer player at Brown, Suzanne Bailey '91 is truly one of Brown's renowned student-athletes. During her lacrosse tenure, Bailey earned All-Ivy honors four times, including First Team accolades as a junior and senior. She currently still holds the school record for goals in a season (60) and ranks fourth on Brown's all-time scoring list with 153 points while her 141 career goals top Brown's all-time goal scoring list. Also excelling in soccer, Bailey earned All-American honors in 1990. She was the first women's soccer player to garner four consecutive First Team All-Ivy selections. During that span, Bailey and the Bears captured four straight Ivy League titles. A 1997 inductee into the Brown Athletic Hall of Fame, Bailey also earned the Marjorie Brown Smith Award as Brown's outstanding female varsity athlete in 1991.
