Women’s Lacrosse’s Mosenthal Named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Sophomore Risa Mosenthal (Campton, N.H.) of the Brown women's lacrosse team was named the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference office on Monday.
Mosenthal helped the Bears open the season with a 16-9 win over Quinnipiac on Saturday, Feb. 16 with a career-high eight goals, which tied the program record originally set by Anne Marie Van Hengel '84 in the 1983 campaign. The attack netted five goals in the first half and added three in the second. She was a perfect 3-for-3 on free position shots and also added four draw controls, two ground balls and one caused turnover.
Brown will play at Ohio State today, Feb. 18, at 3:00 p.m. and will then remain on the road this weekend at Iona on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 2:00 p.m.
Video of all Brown women's lacrosse home contests and all Ivy League games, home and away, will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
