#18 Brown Men’s Squash Defeats #17 MIT, 6-3

Boston, Mass. – Brown's 18^thranked men's squash team concluded its first semester competition with a hard-fought 6-3 win over MIT Saturday evening.

"The team excelled tonight, reversing a 3-6 loss in late February at the end of last season, into a solid 6-3 win at MIT" said head coach Stuart leGassick.

Junior Maximo Moyer set the tone for the match with an 11-5, 11-6, 11-7 win at number one. Sophomore Grant Sterman battled at number three, dropping the first set, but coming back to win three straight for a 3-1 win. Junior Andrew Wei grabbed  a 3-1 decision at number four and freshman Ahmed Amin cruised to a 3-0 victory at five.

Senior Nicholas Pitaro captured a marathon 3-2 decision at seven, followed by senior Blake Gilbert Bono earning a 3-1 victory at number eight.
