Â
"Our slow stars have been hurting us," said head coach Jill Reeve. "We played ourselves back into the game in the second half. Our corner execution was excellent. We'll need to win more corners in future matches."
The Bobcats took a 1-0 lead soon into the contest with a goal by Brooke Whipkey at 2:54. Julianna Cappello made it 2-0 at 8:57. Quinnipiac continued its run with two scores from Bianka Strubbe (19:02, 29:40) for a 4-0 lead going into halftime.Â
