Men’s Hockey’s Brink Named ECAC Player of the Week

ALBANY, N.Y. – Senior Alex Brink (Hamilton, N.Y.) of the Brown men's hockey team was named the ECAC Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday.
Brink was instrumental in Brown's run to the Three Rivers Classic championship in Pittsburgh, earning tournament MVP for his efforts. The senior scored four points in the two games, including a three-point performance (2G, 1A) in the championship game against No. 14 Union on Saturday night. He boasted a league-best +5 on-ice rating and netted a shorthanded goal as part of the team's 6-3 win on Saturday.
Brown will host Providence College on Tuesday, January 15 in the 33rd annual Mayor's Cup at Meehan Auditorium.
Video of all home contests and most ECAC games, home and away, will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans can subscribe and view games by purchasing a monthly package for $4.99 or a yearly package for $49.99.
Tickets for all Brown men's hockey games can be purchased online, by calling the Brown Athletics Ticket Office at (401) 863-2773, or by walking up to the box office located in the Pizzitola Sports Center, open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
