PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Freshman Timmy Frank, senior Umar Masood, and sophomore Arianna Ferretti posted 12, 11, and nine wins respectively to lead Brown University fencing at the Philadelphia Invitational on Saturday at the University of Pennsylvania's Tse Center.
Â
"The team fenced well today in one of the toughest events of this season's campaign," Brown head coach Alex Ripa said. "The Philadelphia Invitational is a who's who of collegiate fencing, and the Brown Bears emerged victorious over Haverford on both the men's and women's sides while also coming away from the day with strong victories in the various squads. All-in-all, the team performed like a team on the move."
