Men’s Hockey to Host Jamboree Scrimmages on Saturday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's ice hockey team will host Princeton and Yale in a preseason Jamboree on Saturday (10/20), playing a series of shortened scrimmages against the Ivy League foes at Meehan Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

The three programs will play two 40-minute scrimmages, one against each team, broken down by 20-minute halves. The complete schedule is listed below:

Brown vs. Princeton – 12:30 PM
Princeton vs. Yale – 2:15 PM (30 minutes after game 1)
Brown vs. Yale – 4:00 PM (30 minutes after game 2)

Brown will open the 2018-19 season next Friday (10/26) when the Bears host Yale at 7 PM.

Video of all home contests and all Ivy League games, home and away, will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans can subscribe and view games by purchasing a monthly package for $4.99 or a yearly package for $49.99.

Tickets for all Brown men's hockey games can be purchased online, by calling the Brown Athletics Ticket Office at (401) 863-2773, or by walking up to the box office located in the Pizzitola Sports Center, open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
