Bears Top Williams For Fifth Place In Summers Cup at National Team Championship

Brown's men's squash team placed fifth in the Summers Cup Division at the National Team Championship held at Harvard with a thrilling 5-4 win over Williams.
The Bears played with energy and composure against Williams and were buoyed by strong senior leadership, with Alex Demeulenaere earning a four game victory at number seven and Alexander Baldock taking a 3-0 decision at number eight.
Sophomore Ben Caraballo captured a relatively easy 11-1, 11-5, 11-2 victory at number five and freshman Harrison Boyer, playing number six, grabbed an 11-2, 11-6, 10-12, 11-4 decision against Williams. Sophomore Palak Goel was also victorious for the Bears, taking an 11-2, 11-6, 5-11, 11-5 decision at number nine.
