PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Brown men's swimming & diving team opened up its tri-meet against Penn and Harvard with diving events on Friday at Sheerr Pool.
Senior Jonathon Schlafer (Uniontown, Ohio) was Brown's top finisher in the 1M with a score of 272.20 for fourth place. Junior Bryce Campanelli (Palmyra, Va.) and freshman William McNelis (Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.) were right behind him in fifth and sixth with scores of 258.20 and 214.95, respectively.
For the 3M, Schlafer improved his finish from earlier and placed second with a score of 314.40. Campanelli came in fourth (258.65) and McNelis placed seventh (208.40).
The swimming events will take place tomorrow (Jan. 14) at Sheerr Pool starting at noon.
