
Men's Tennis' Tarwid Named First Team All-Ivy

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's tennis sophomore Peter Tarwid (Lake Forest, Ill.) was named First Team All-Ivy (singles) in an announcement made by the conference on Thursday.
Tarwid led the Bears with 19 singles wins on the year while competing in the top-three spots, going 5-3 in the No. 1 spot. The sophomore had a strong end to the season, winning back-to-back matches against No. 49 Harvard and Yale. In Ivy League play, Tarwid posted a record of 4-3. Tarwid opened the spring season with five-straight singles wins, with two in the No. 1 spot and three in the No. 3 slot.
In just two years, Tarwid has compiled a total of 39 wins in singles play, as he ranked second on the team in victories (20) as a rookie in 2014-15.
