
Men's Tennis Falls at No. 36 Dartmouth, 6-1

HANOVER, N.H. – The Brown men's tennis team was defeated at No. 36 Dartmouth, 6-1, at the Boss Tennis Center on Friday. Sophomore Aaron Sandberg (Hudson, Ohio) posted a win for the Bears in singles' play.
The Big Green won the doubles point, taking the victories in the first and second matches.
In singles play, sophomore Peter Tarwid (Lake Forest, Ill.) had a tightly contest first set against No. 81 Dovydas Sakinis, but was edged 7-6. Sakinis then went on to win the match in the next set (6-1). Sandberg's win came in fifth singles, a 6-4, 6-0 triumph.
The Bears will next return home to the Brown Varsity Tennis Courts on Sunday, April 17, to host No. 48 Harvard, with the Ivy League match starting at 1:00 p.m.
