
Volleyball's Stillwell Wins Ivy League Rookie of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown University volleyball freshman Sabrina Stillwell has garnered Ivy League Volleyball Rookie of the Week accolades, the Ivy League conference office announced on Tuesday.
A native of Laguna Beach, Calif., Stillwell helped lead Brown to a 2-1 weekend at the Sacred Heart University Hampton Inn Invitational, registering a team-high 34 total kills, 3.09 kills per set, and a team-best .385 hitting percentage.
She landed double-digit kills in all three of the team's matches this past weekend. She charted 11 kills vs. Hartford, 11 kills vs. Bucknell, and 12 kills on .529 hitting and three blocks at Sacred Heart. The Laguna Beach High School product gained SHU Invitational All-Tournament Team honors for her performance.
Stillwell and the Bears return to action tonight, Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m. at Providence College prior to playing in four matches at the NMSU-UTEP Borderland Classic from Sept. 11-12.
