Today was the fourth day of our tour through Italy.
We spent 3 days in the beautiful province of Milan. It was a great experience for all of us and unfortunately we had to leave this morning. Today we bussed 4 hours to Florence where we will be spending the next 2 nights.
Although riding on bus for 4 hours is never exciting, I must say that this was the single most beautiful bus ride that I had ever been on. We took an extremely scenic route to Florence. Our view was filled with beautiful houses within little towns, high mountain tops, numerous vineyards, and many other great views of the land that seems to be one of a kind here in Italy.
After arriving in Florence, we checked into our hotel, then immediately left the hotel to go view what great things that Florence has to offer. Our first day here in Florence was marked by sightseeing of numerous attractions but I must say that the jewel of them all was the Florence Cathedral. The architectural structure of the Cathedral is magnificent. You are also afforded the opportunity to walk to the top of the Cathedral and view miles and miles of incredible scenery.
We finished the day off with a great meal at a local restaurant and now we and now we are looking forward to our game tomorrow against Virtus Bologna, a team from the top league here in Italy! Stay tuned, and continue reading our future blogs about our tour.
We look forward to hearing from other guys along the way! If you'd like to follow us on our trip via social media, the hashtag we will be using is BearsInItaly. Go Bruno!
