
Men's Squash Awards, Team Captains, Incoming Freshmen Announced At Annual Team Banquet

Providence, RI - The Brown men's squash team wrapped up its season with the Squash Team Banquet at the Faculty Club in Providence with the annual awards ceremony, the naming of team captains for the 2015-2016 season and the announcement of the Brown Class of 2019.
There were several awards presented at the banquet, including the "Best Record at the Team Nationals," which went to freshman Foster Hoff who went 3-0 at #6.
The Most Improved Player award went to senior captain Nick Talbott while the Quint Stevenson Memorial award was awarded to junior co-captain Jack Blasberg and freshman Thomas Blecher.
Four Brown squash student-athletes, Jack Blasberg, junior Foster Hoff, junior Oliver Booth and sophomore Alex Demeulenaere were recognized for earning CSA Scholar-Athlete Awards which are awarded to juniors and seniors, who have played in 50% or more of the matches and have a 3.5 GPA or better.
The team selected co- captains for the 2015-16 season - Jack Blasberg '16 and Oliver Booth '16.
Head coach Stuart leGassick and the Brown team thanked seniors Nick Talbott and Neel Swami for their leadership and efforts on and off the squash courts over their four years on the squash team on College Hill.
Coach leGassick's squad looks forward to the arrival of the freshmen in the fall: Purvi Goel, Ben Caraballo and Philip Demeulenaere.
