NEW YORK – Junior Simon Jones claimed a share of the men's epee title, and the Brown University men's and women's fencing teams each beat Yale University, 14-13, on the second and final day of the 2015 Ivy League Fencing Round-Robins at Columbia University's Levien Gymnasium on Monday.
Jones (Louisville, Colo.) went a perfect 6-0 in men's epee competition on Monday to finish 11-4 and to earn First Team All-Ivy honors over the two-day event, tying with Princeton's Alex House and Harvard's Alexander Eldeib for the men's epee crown.
The Bears' men's and women's teams each topped Yale, 14-13, in their final action of the competition. The men's team took the victory behind an 8-1 win for the epee squad while the women's side clinched the win with a 6-3 victory for the epee squad and a 5-4 win for the sabre squad.
Earlier in the day, the men's team fell to No. 8 Princeton, 18-9, despite a 6-3 win for the epee squad, and the women dropped a 24-3 decision to the No. 3 Tigers.

Also in men's epee, sophomore James Yoon (Austin, Texas) went 4-2 on day two to finish 7-8 overall.
