Men's Squash Opens Season WIth 8-1 WIn Over Wesleyan

Providence, R.I. - Brown opened its 2014-15 squash season with a decisive 8-1 win over Wesleyan. Sophomore Alex Baldock and freshman Thomas Belcher paced the Bears at numbers two and three, respectively, both with 3-0 decisions.

The Bears showed balance throughout the lineup with junior Oliver Booth capturing a 3-1 win at number four and senior Nick Talbott earning a hard-fought 3-2 win at number five. Brown earned 3-0 wins at numbers six through nine with freshman Thomas Walker, freshman Charlie Blasberg, junior Foster Hoff and freshman Alex Demeulenaere all earning victories.

Coach Stuart leGassick's team will play just one more match before winter break, facing George Washington on Saturday, December 6 in Cambridge, Mass.
