
Zolnierczyk Scores Goal in First NHL Game with the Flyers

PROVIDENCE, RI - Former Brown captain and 2011 Ivy League Player of the Year Harry Zolnierczyk '11 (Toronto, ONT) made his NHL debut on Tuesday, October 18th, in a 7-2 Flyers win over the Ottawa Senators. The second Brown alum to play in an NHL game so far this year, joining Aaron Volpatti '10 (Revelstoke, BC), who is with the Vancouver Canucks, Zolnierczyk scored his first career goal late in the third period. In four games with the AHL's Adirondack Phantoms, Zolnierczyk had 4 points (1g, 3a). He was called up to the NHL on Monday.
