Hill & Klanke Claim 'C' Doubles Flight at USTA National Tennis Center Collegiate Invitational

FLUSHING, NY - Sophomores Mike Hill (Topsham, ME) and Timmy Klanke (Potomac, MD) led six Brown men's tennis players over the weekend at the USTA National Tennis Center Collegiate Invitational by capturing the "C" Doubles Flight. Along the way, Hill and Klanke upset two seeded teams, including the top-seeded team in the flight in a semifinal match.

Other highlights of the weekend included freshman Sam Fife (Scarsdale, NY) upsetting #2-seeded Jon Pearlman (Harvard) in the Round of 16 of the "A" Singles Flight, Klanke upsetting #3-seeded Jason Magnes (Penn) in the Round of 16 of the "C" Singles Flight, and the team of freshman Brandon Burke (Kingston, Jamaica) and sophomore Tom Deighton (London, England) upsetting both the #4 and #1 seeded doubles teams in the "A" Doubles Flight.
