Women's Track & Field Competes at ECAC Championship

Boston, MA- A few members of the Brown University women's
track & field squad competed at the 2010 Indoor ECAC
Championship at the Reggie Lewis Track in Boston this weekend.
Senior Ariel Wright (Oakland, CA) led the team with a second-place
finish in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:32.80. Also turning
in a great performance was junior Jasmine Chukwueke (San Diego, CA)
in the 400m dash with an 11th place time of 56.59 seconds. In the
500m dash, junior Lucy Higgins (Jeffersonville, VT) finished 21st
overall with a 1:17.13.
The Bears will now prepare for their outdoor season which begins on March 20 at the Northeastern Invitational.
