
Men's Squash Beats MIT, Falls To Penn, Princeton

Providence, Rhode Island - The 14th ranked Brown men's squash team had mixed results in its final weekend of the fall semester, beating MIT by a 9-0 margin, but falling to #3 Princeton, 8-1, and #9 Penn, 9-1, at the Pizzitola Sports Center.
With senior Brad Thompson earning a hard fought victory against MIT at the top of the lineup, Brown captured all matches by a 3-0 margin against the Engineers.
The Bears battled the third-ranked Tigers, with Eamon O'Connor capturing Brown's lone win at number five, 11-4,11-9,8-11,4-11,11-5. At number six, Tucker Bryan captured two of the first three games, before falling by a 3-2 margin.
Brown's match against #9 Penn was close throughout, with senior captain Adrian Leanza earning a 11-6,7-11,8-11,11-4,11-5 decision at number two, while sophomore Alex Hsu defeated Penn, 11-8,12-10,12-10 at the seventh spot.
The Bears return to action again next semester, hosting Bowdoin on January 18.
