Victoria Mealer-Flowers joined the Brown University Athletic Department as the Student-Athlete Services Intern in September 2015. She became the Student-Athlete Services-Coordinator during the 2016-17 academic year and became the Program Manager, Student-Athlete Support and Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives in Spring 2021.
Prior to Brown, Mealer-Flowers served as a compliance graduate assistant at the University of Connecticut, where she provided assistance in daily operations of the office, including game contracts, search committees and NCAA rules. Additionally, she was a member of the Wellness and Performance Committee, working to promote a positive impact on student-athlete welfare.
As a student-athlete, Mealer-Flowers put together an impressive track & field career at UConn, where she served as team captain from 2011-13. She was a seven-time NCAA All-American in the weight throw, hammer throw and shot put and four-time NCAA Northeast Region Field Athlete of the Year.
A 2012 graduate of Connecticut with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies, Mealer-Flowers earned a Master of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies and Master of Science in Sports Management in 2015.Â
